Rules & Policy
What I do / don’t draw:
❌ I do NOT draw: Porn, R18 explicit, extreme torture, shota-con or loli-con (sexualized child characters), incest, sexualized furry, mechs/robots, complex backgrounds, images intended to incite hatred towards any race/religion/group etc.
✅ I do draw: Sensual, implied nudity, people of all ages, races, body types, ugly/normal/attractive people, death/murder, swim, lingerie, animals, furry characters in nonsexual context.
⚠️ Please Note: I am also NOT an adult artist. I may not be the best for that type of project. If your game is very story-driven with some extra spicy, you may want to consider hiring me alongside another artist.
References & Concepts:
Please have text descriptions and/or visual references ready for your characters.
If you have a long wall of text, I need pictures to supplement. Google images is your friend. Crappy hand-drawings are also great. Images of other characters similar to your type of character also helps. You don’t need all of this, but it may prove helpful.
If you are not picky about the design whatsoever, then a simple text description is fine. Please go over the characters’ personality, in addition to physical traits. It will help me figure out their essence and how they stand/move/emote. Feel free to include character dialogue quotes. (I may ask more questions, if I feel I don’t quite grasp the character.)
I will provide 1-3 complimentary starter concepts, with an allowance for up to three rounds of edits max. If you don’t like any of the starter concepts, you may have to reclarify what you are looking for. I may then provide three additional concepts. If you still don't like any of the starter concepts after that, you may choose to pause here. Alternatively, you can also hire an outside character concept artist, and come back to me after. If you know you are very particular about your characters’ design, I highly suggest finding someone else who specializes in character concept design.
I no longer offer extensive character design.
I no longer take one-off OC commissions without a visual reference.
Edits & Changes:
Three edits allowed for sketches, three edits for inks/flats and three edits for shading. I do not want to charge for additional edits, because I do not want to rework the same image endlessly. I will allow for the occasional image to go over three edits, if truly needed. However, if you are a routine perfectionist, we may not be compatible. You will probably be better off with an artist that you can work with on an hourly basis instead.
Regarding Payment:
Prices listed are in $ USD / United States Dollars. I can take Paypal or Venmo.
For one-off commissions, payment is required upfront for anything under $40. For work over $40, half is required after the sketch, and the other half due after completion.
Turn-around Time:
Typically, I can deliver multiple CGs and sprite assets within a week. If there are other things going on in my life, I will notify you beforehand of the estimated delay. Most of my previous commissioners agree I am very, very fast. If you need something on a rush deadline, just drop me a line & we’ll see if it can be done.
Acceptable Use:
Once you commission the image, it’s yours to use. Feel free to print and sell merchandise of your characters. I’m not too particular about commercial / non-commercial rates/etc. Indie devs have it tough- I wish you the best of luck and success in your passions.
Common Sense Etiquette:
Because this has happened before: Do NOT use my images to scam others (No fake kickstarter campaigns!), do NOT create pro-hate messaging with my drawings, do NOT steal art, do NOT send suicide threats. Be decent and mentally sound.
